As most people may expect, the new project is “LA-MULANA2”.
We are exhibiting the playable demo at indie game area of TOKYO GAME SHOW.

Our booth is here.

Although I say it is a playable demo, you can only walk about the new field. You may feel the beginning of a new adventure.
But it was made for TGS, we are going to start the development from zero after TGS.
I am sorry to say – I can’t tell any information yet on the special website. But we allow you to photograph our booth. So, people who can’t come to TGS please search photos will be uploaded by visitors of TGS.

Naramura may be absent from our booth tomorrow because I have been busy since morning.
People who would like to meet me might want to come to our booth today.
I may look around the other booths of indie game developers.

Don’t say “LA-MULANA again!” I’d rather I say that.
To tell the truth, this project launched when we began to develop WiiWare version’s LA-MULANA.

Before we set up NIGORO, we originally had an idea that making a game is
such a tough work, so we wouldn’t last unless we publish another game
using same system and replaced data.
LA-MULANA2 was born on that idea, and I would have to say “New scenario on LA-MULANA system”.

This is a sequel to LA-MULANA that we were saying it was impossible.
You might think “Can you make the continuation of that story?” or “Is there few idea for the ruins game?”
So, I said this project had simultaneously started with LA-MULANA four years ago.
We
will give away new information little by little. In the meantime, how
about finding underplots of LA-MULANA2 that are scattered in LA-MULANA?

We announce the new project again from TOKYO GAME SHOW.
A special website is going to show up soon.
We are going to exhibit it at an indie game booth of TGS on public exhibition days, from tomorrow.
We guess indie game booths are kind of laid-back. So, we welcome anyone who come to play and intend to stay longer.

TOKYO GAME SHOW is starting tomorrow, and NIGORO is going to exhibit from 21st.
But I set off today because we have lots of things to be done.
We would like to report what is happening at TGS as much as we can, but would be as usual.

This time we are so busy that I will not be able to do live broadcast along with TGS.
Although we announce the new project there, but you can’t see the demo unless you are on site.
However, make yourself easy. A special website that we have prepared appears at night on 20th. (JST)

You can play the demo of the new game instantly at TGS. That’s all that matters.
And then, we will give some gifts for players. Just like that.

Unlike game shows that we went to before, we are going to run a booth this time.
I don’t know what indie booths look like, but we will warm up our booth as much as we can.

We will display poster and POP of the new project, and file La-Mulana’s rough sketches and scores.
We are planning to give something to guests who clear prescribed conditions. Now, we are creating that “something”.

I am in a situation where I rush to make a logo and illustrations of characters because it is a new project that we have no materials for the poster or whatever.
I have to make a promotional video, too.

A preliminary announcement of new project starting

Well, La-Mulana’s remake project was announced in 2009, wasn’t it? It has been 4 years since last time we announced a new project, indeed.
We had been under development about 2 years, and after that, we have engaged in La-Mulana for two years by all possible means.

Surely, we are making the new game right now. We must get through some works, at least we can display a promotional video at TOKYO GAME SHOW so that you will be able to play a demo over there.
I am very happy to bring back a sense of making games after a long time.

I think I should share this happiness for everybody.

Speaking of new project, we need to make a special website which is in name only. In fact, it is my playground.
We will publish that soon, and I will enjoy teasing you till TGS. Don’t miss it.
