A HAPPY NEW YEAR LA-MULANESE!!

20160101

Thank you for playing our games and supporting us.
The latest alpha version of LA-MULANA 2 is released for our backers.
We suppose it became more “LA-MULANA-like“ than former alpha versions.

LA-MULANA 2 will be released in this year, so please wait for it with laid-back attitude.
We appreciate your continuous support.

A traditonal event

2015 is about to come to an end.

We’ve tried implying progress to everyone via KickStarter updates or at event venues. Some people who’ve known NIGORO since long ago guessed what we meant. LA-MULANA 2 won’t be released in this year. We are sorry about that, but it’s impossible.

After our KickStarter project concluded, we spent about one year while we did major revisions for events and worked on the PS Vita version. In addition, we had many turns and twists until we ultimately decided to shift to Unity environment.

Thanks to that decision, porting into consumer platforms will go smoothly after the PC version is released.

Since this project was made possible through Kickstarter, it’s only fair that we must announce this information to Kickstarter backers first. Additionally, we’re working hard on this project so as to not repeat our wrongdoing such as when we developed the WiiWare version of LA-MULANA. We claimed “We will have done it in a half year!”, after that we kept apologizing for one year, and then we kept silent for the next year.

We will disclose game contents as soon as we prepare a website for LA-MULANA 2 in 2016.

So, when will we finish up LA-MULANA 2?
We don’t wanna spend one more year, but we don’t think it will be released in a few months.

We might publish it as an advance release when we finished the part of the main story, which we actually did before working as NIGORO. But, we’ll never release it until we ensure the quality that is appropriate for the name “LA-MULANA 2.”

Development takes priority over anything else, so we can’t take much time to do public relations and update official website because we are a very small team. We are sorry for inconvenience.

We are working so hard to accomplish La-MULANA 2 that convinces everyone. We appreciate your patience.

Tokyo Game Show 2015 is over.

Tokyo Game Show 2015 is over last weekend. Thank you for coming to NIGORO Booth.

We are going to hold back public campaign until at least Japanese plum trees sprout. We have got to focus on making the game. La-Mulana 2 was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2013, after that we launched Kickstarter project. We have to reset our condition because we did bustle about events and basic development under Unity environment. It’s gonna be okay if once we lay out a situation that we put things learned from your trial play into the middle of La-Mulana 2 and keep making data.

See you until next La-Mulana 2 update.

PAX PRIME 2015 is over.

We joined PAX PRIME 2015 as a member of Indie Mega Booth.

In this year, we intend to focus on development and not to go out. But LA-MULANA 2 got through the screening, we decided to join PAX. It was a kind of an inspection tour for us since the game itself is still early stage of development.

Last year, we joined PAX EAST in Boston. We had an impression on PAX PRIME same as PAX EAST, like all visitors, exhibitors and floor staff just love games and went crazy.

We couldn’t prepare promotion campaign stuff much, but we walked around the halls and tried to talk with more indie game creators. We played Awesomenauts, Chasn, Moon Hunters, Timespinner, Kingdom and so on.

We thank developers and creators from HACKNET、Viking Squad、Sometimes Always Monsters who dropped in our booth.

We have met @David from Rising Star Games at Nindie@Night that was luckliy held just beside the Hotel we stayed. We hope to meet him again.

We also thank YACHT CLUB GAMES which is famous for Shovel Knight. We met them at Nindie@Night by chance and got a lot of Shovel Knight goods at their booth.

We will turn up there again When LA-MULANA 2 completes.
